CoQ10 and Angina
For those who have angina symptom. It really feels as though your heart is being squeezed, or you feel the sensation of a great pressure in the chest. Angina is nearly always brought on by a lack of oxygen to the heart muscle. Simply because the arteries are partially blocked by plaque-a buildup associated with high cholesterol, your heart isn’t getting enough blood flow to deliver oxygen to the heart muscle. Spasm of the coronary arteries can also lead to angina.

Several research indicates CoQ10 to be beneficial for this condition. Pharmaceutical medications are useful for treating acute episodes of angina, but CoQ10 is the supplement of choice for prevention of future attacks. I have had outstanding results in patients who have lad a history of angina. Sometimes I recommend CoQ10 by itself while, for other patients, I favor combining it with magnesium, hawthorn berry extract and cactus extract (Cereus grandiflorus).

Arrhythmia
Those who have this problem say they’ve the feeling that their heart is missing a beat. Coenzyme Q10 has a stabilizing effect on the electrical conductivity of the heart, so it can help to prevent arrhythmia. Research has shown it to be good at nearly one-quarter of cases. Where people are experiencing a particular kind of arrhythmia related to premature ventricular contractions.

Magnesium, L-carnitine and potassium supplements can also be indicated for arrhythmias.
